Applications

Note:
IEC 60502-2 is the global baseline standard for medium voltage cables. DIN VDE 0276-620 (HD620) applies stricter partial discharge and electrical test requirements for European continental projects. BS 6622 is the UK standard, widely used in UK and Commonwealth markets with characteristic voltage ratings such as 3.8/6.6kV. All three standards permit custom outer sheath colours, red is a common industry convention rather than mandatory requirement.
