EN 50525 / HAR rubber cables (rated voltage up to and including 450/750V) are harmonized European movable power cables for EU projects. Featuring Class 5 flexible copper conductor for standard types, while welding cables to EN 50525-2-81 adopt Class D or Class E conductors (often referred to as Class 6 extra-flexible, and Class D / E are even more flexible than Class 6) and cross-linked elastomer insulation and sheath, these cables deliver outstanding flexibility, oil resistance, abrasion resistance and strict European colour coding. Widely used for construction sites, portable machinery, power tools, hoists and crane systems. The series covers general-duty, heavy-duty, welding and low-smoke halogen-free rubber cables.
