Professional special cables for harsh environments and special working conditions
UGEFP and UGEFHP are heavy‑duty TBM trailing flexible rubber cables rated up to 26/35 kV, developed by Taitong Cable under enterprise standard Q/TT 05‑2025 and referenced to JB/T 14660‑2024. They adopt Class 5 copper conductors, EPR insulation and CR rubber sheath, featuring excellent torsion resistance, oil resistance and low‑temperature performance; UGEFP withstands -15 ℃ while cold‑resistant UGEFHP works down to -35 ℃. We serve contractors, project buyers, wholesalers and distributors for metro, tunnel, water diversion and open‑pit mining projects. Our main export markets include Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. As a Chinese manufacturer with rich domestic tunneling project experience, Taitong Cable provides full technical support, competitive pricing and custom construction for bulk orders.

Min. permissible ambient temperature: UGEFP: -15 ℃, UGEFHP: -35 ℃
Min. bending radius: 6 × cable OD
Protective conductor to be properly earthed; conductor cross-section subject to negotiation.
No. of cores: 3+1 and 3+3 cable structure, protective conductors in filled design.
(The cable shall not be exposed to direct sunlight for a long period.)
Insulated cores: subject to insulation water absorption test. Capacitance rise ≤6 % (1–14 d), ≤2.5 % (7–14 d).
Insulated power cores shall withstand the power frequency voltage test specified in the table without breakdown. (See table below.)
4-hour voltage test: The finished cable shall withstand a power frequency voltage test of 4U₀ for 4 hours, with no breakdown occurring during the test.
UGEFP and UGEFHP trailing flexible rubber cables are designed for power supply of TBM tunnel boring machines and other mobile underground excavation equipment. Suitable for metro tunnels, railway tunnels, water conveyance tunnels, open‑pit mines (open‑pit mining projects, opencast mining) and non‑coal underground engineering. They tolerate frequent reeling, twisting, bending and exposure to hydraulic oil on site. UGEFHP cold‑resistant type is preferred for high‑latitude or alpine low‑temperature construction sites. Not limited to coal mines, widely adopted for municipal, infrastructure and mining EPC projects.
Model code explanation: UG = rubber flexible cable; E = EPR insulation; F = CR sheath; P = screened; J = reinforced; H = cold resistant. The insulation does not adhere to conductor or adjacent insulation cores. Adhesion between insulation and outer sheath is optional. Custom core arrangements including 3+1, 3+3 and 3+3‑S/3 are available. All cables are produced to Taitong enterprise standard Q/TT 05‑2025.
